52. What Can It Mean

52. What Can It Mean

The good day is about to go through change

In a weird manner said to be strange

You talked to a nice pleasant girl at a fair

But was amazed to find out she died last year

Even though I had this dream many years ago, I still think about it today.

In the dream, me and family visit a fair, and we meet this girl and her friends of about the same age as me. We are between eighteen and twenty-five roughly. Anyway, we all get on very well, especially me and this girl.  As the dream progresses, we somehow leave the fair, the girl and her friends.

We end up at a place to eat. How we end up here, I don’t know, due to dreams not making sense.  While having small talk with the person serving our food, we mention that we visited a fair. I mentioned that we got talking to this girl. When I mentioned her name, the person serving our food said, you must be mistaken. When I asked why, the person told me that a girl of the same name and age had died last year at the same fair, some sort of accident apparently. When he said this, a cold shiver went through the whole of my body. Was this person lying to us? Maybe, but I don’t think so.

Was this girl a ghost of the girl who died? I can’t be certain, but I believe it was.

What is the meaning of this dream?

I believe that certain dreams are not meant to make sense, due to our subconscious mind taking over when we fall asleep. It's the part of our brains that we have no control over.
