46. A Good Day's Work
Boredom takes advantage of the lazy
Making them idle and sometimes crazy
Some hard graft will do the trick
To prove to them there not so slick
Why is it, if you’re snowed under with work, time flies by, and if you’ve you got nothing to do, time just drags? There’s another thing as well. Why is it we moan when we’ve got too much work to do, and moan again when we haven’t got enough.
As human beings, it seems to be in our nature to moan and complain about every and anything, but if there’s one thing that always seems to be rewarding for most people in life, it's the completion of a good day’s work. No matter wherever you are in whatever country, working every day is something that is ingrained in all human beings, and that is to put or brains and bodies to work, as a way of earning their keep.
There are certain people who don’t need to work and are financially secure, but do it just to pass the time. But most of the public have no choice, and must work to pay their way through life. Whichever category you find yourself in, work will always be a defining factor in how we live our lives.
If you can, find a job that you love from day one, and that you will still love on your last day of your working life.
