20. Human Instinct

Mark Andrew Johnson

20. Human Instinct

To see and hear are two of many things that we take for granted

Imagine a tree and think how it was looked after when it was first planted

Having these thoughts help us to feel and care more deeply

So that when we come to cry we can do so freely

Human beings are the only living things that cry to show emotions and feelings when either we are upset or sad. At the same time, tears of joy can be shed when you find something incredibly funny or amusing. On rare occasions, a person can both cry and laugh at the same time, because of the intense crossover of feelings that they are experiencing. This is why the workings of a human being will never be recreated by another one.
